Ingredients

- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 medium cucumber, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Season salmon with spice mixture.
- Mix chickpeas, vegetables, lemon juice, and oil for salad.
- Sear salmon 4 to 5 minutes per side until flaky.
- Rest briefly and serve with salad.

- Do not overcook salmon.
