Description

Creamy, tangy, and slightly spicy pickle roll-ups made with deli ham, seasoned cream cheese, and whole dill pickles. A quick no-cook appetizer that is perfect for parties and snack trays.


Ingredients

  • 12 thin slices deli ham
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 6 medium whole dill pickles, patted dry
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper, then mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Pat the whole dill pickles dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  4. Lay one slice of deli ham flat on a cutting board.
  5. Spread an even layer of the seasoned cream cheese mixture over the ham slice.
  6. Place one whole pickle at the edge of the ham slice and roll tightly to enclose it completely.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining ham slices and pickles.
  8. Refrigerate the rolled pickles for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  9. Slice each roll into bite-sized rounds using a sharp knife.
  10. Arrange on a platter and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Make sure the pickles are very dry to prevent the filling from becoming watery.
  • Chill before slicing for cleaner, neater cuts.
