Description

Light and crisp pirouette cookies rolled into delicate wafer spirals, optionally dipped in chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Whisk butter and sugar, then add egg whites and vanilla.
  3. Stir in flour and salt.
  4. Spread thin circles of batter on parchment lined sheet.
  5. Bake 5 to 7 minutes until golden at edges.
  6. Roll immediately around spoon handle and cool.
  7. Dip in melted chocolate if desired.
