Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare loaf pan.
- Mix banana bread batter ingredients.
- Beat filling ingredients until smooth.
- Layer half batter, filling, then remaining batter.
- Bake 55 to 65 minutes.
- Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas.
- Do not overmix batter.
- Cool fully before cutting.
