- 6 bratwurst sausages
- 2 cups beer
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 6 brat buns
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Yellow mustard for serving, optional
Instructions
- Simmer bratwursts in beer and sliced onion for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium and brush grates with olive oil.
- Grill brats 5 to 7 minutes until browned with grill marks.
- Toast buns briefly on grill.
- Serve brats in buns topped with onions and mustard.
Notes
