Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a bundt or ring pan thoroughly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a cooling rack.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze until smooth.
- Pour the glaze over the slightly warm cake and allow it to set before slicing.
