Description

Crispy pan fried gnocchi with caramelized mushrooms, garlic, and fresh parsley. A quick and comforting one pan meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shelf stable gnocchi
  • 12 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Grated Parmesan, optional

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
  2. Add gnocchi in a single layer and cook until golden and crisp, turning occasionally.
  3. Remove gnocchi and set aside.
  4. Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook until browned and tender.
  5. Stir in garlic and cook briefly.
  6. Return gnocchi to the skillet and toss with mushrooms.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper.
  8. Sprinkle with parsley and Parmesan if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the pan.
  • Cook mushrooms until moisture evaporates.
