- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup (240 milliliters) buttermilk

- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

- 2 cups (480 milliliters) vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
- Preheat waffle maker and heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 175 degrees Celsius.
- In one bowl mix flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. In another bowl combine buttermilk and beaten eggs.
- Dip each chicken thigh into the buttermilk mixture, then coat thoroughly in the seasoned flour.
- Fry chicken for 6 to 8 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and rest on a wire rack.
- Prepare waffle batter by mixing flour, baking powder, sugar, milk, melted butter, and 2 eggs until just combined.
- Cook waffles in the preheated waffle maker until golden and crisp.
- Assemble by placing lettuce and tomato on one waffle, top with fried chicken, drizzle with maple syrup, and cover with the second waffle. Serve warm.
