Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, powdered sugar, cardamom, and rosewater. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Line a plate or tray with parchment paper.
- Scoop small portions of the dough and roll into oval mulberry-like shapes.
- Press a clove into the center of each piece if desired.
- Roll each Toot in powdered sugar until coated.
- Arrange on a serving plate and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
Notes
- Use blanched almond flour for the smoothest texture.
- If dough is too dry, add a tiny splash more rosewater.
- For a festive look, sprinkle with dried rose petals or chopped pistachios.
