Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until glossy and well combined.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt just until incorporated. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Dollop tahini on top and swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until edges are set and center is just firm. A toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
  7. Cool completely in pan. For cleaner slices, refrigerate before cutting.
  8. Serve and enjoy as-is or with a scoop of ice cream.
