Description
Soft, golden donuts filled with creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries, finished with a dusting of powdered sugar or a sweet strawberry glaze.

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup whole milk (warm)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (diced)
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes, then add eggs, butter, and flour. Knead until smooth.
- Roll dough into balls and place on a baking sheet to rise for about 30 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and diced strawberries until creamy. Transfer to a piping bag.
- Fry donuts in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and cool slightly.
- Insert piping nozzle into each donut and fill generously with cheesecake mixture.
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with strawberry glaze, then serve warm.
Notes
- Maintain oil temperature for even frying.
- Let donuts cool slightly before filling to preserve texture.
- Filling can be made a day ahead.
