- 1 and 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 and 1/2 cups chopped fresh strawberries
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Whisk all purpose flour, almond flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Mix sugar, yogurt, eggs, oil, and vanilla in another bowl until smooth.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Grease an 8 inch cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- Pour the batter into the pan and sprinkle slivered almonds on top.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before slicing.
