Description

A warm and melty Spicy Cheddar & Cream Cheese Egg Sandwich with fluffy eggs, creamy layers, and just the right kick of heat. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a quick snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of bread (sourdough or multigrain)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Beat eggs with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
  3. Melt butter in the skillet, then pour in eggs. Stir gently until just set but still soft.
  4. Toast bread slices lightly. Spread cream cheese on one side of each slice.
  5. Layer eggs, shredded cheddar, and jalapeños onto bread. Close with another slice.
  6. Return sandwich to skillet, cooking 1–2 minutes per side until cheese melts.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes
