Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, toss sliced bananas with 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Spread evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until just combined to form the cobbler batter.
- Pour the batter evenly over the banana mixture.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream.
