Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, then beat until combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just incorporated.
- Scoop dough into tablespoon-sized balls, place on the baking sheet, and flatten slightly using a fork in a criss-cross pattern.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are set and the tops are slightly cracked.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- Use a fork dipped in sugar for easy criss-cross patterns without sticking.
- Slightly underbake for an ultra-soft center.
