- 2 pounds green beans, trimmed (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 and 1/2 cups crispy fried onions
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Lightly grease the slow cooker or use a liner.
- In a bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, pepper, and 1/3 of the fried onions.
- Add green beans to the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over them. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 2.5–3 hours, until beans are tender.
- Sprinkle remaining fried onions on top, cover, and let sit for 10–15 minutes before serving.

- Use frozen or fresh green beans for better texture.
- Add shredded cheese for a cheesy variation.
