Description

This Skinny Watermelon Margarita is light, refreshing, and perfect for summer sipping. Made with fresh watermelon juice, zesty lime, and smooth tequila, it’s a guilt-free cocktail you can enjoy anytime without all the added sugar.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec (or orange liqueur)
  • 12 tsp agave nectar (optional, to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges and watermelon slices, for garnish
  • Coarse salt or Tajín, for rimming the glass

Instructions

  1. Place the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain the juice into a pitcher to remove pulp if desired.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine watermelon juice, lime juice, tequila, triple sec, and agave nectar (if using) with a handful of ice. Shake well.
  3. Rim serving glasses with lime juice and dip into coarse salt or Tajín.
  4. Fill glasses with ice, pour in the margarita mixture, and garnish with lime wedges and watermelon slices.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • For a frozen version, blend the watermelon with ice instead of shaking.
  • Use chilled watermelon for an extra refreshing drink.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less agave nectar.
