Description

A hearty one-pan meal featuring juicy seared steak and crispy golden potatoes tossed in buttery garlic and herbs. Perfect for cozy dinners or quick weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ribeye or Sirloin Steak
  • 1 pound Baby Potatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, smashed
  • 2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • Fresh Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Toss halved potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Add potatoes cut-side down to skillet and cook for 10–12 minutes until golden and crisp. Remove and set aside.
  4. Season steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
  5. Add oil to skillet and sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Add butter, garlic, and rosemary during the last minute and baste steak.
  6. Return potatoes to skillet and toss everything in the flavored butter for 1–2 minutes.
  7. Slice steak, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Let steak rest before slicing for juicy results.
  • Use a cast iron skillet for best sear.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
