Ingredients

  • Refried beans, 2 cups, seasoned with taco seasoning
  • Sour cream, 1 1/2 cups
  • Guacamole, 1 1/2 cups
  • Chunky salsa, 1 1/2 cups
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded, 1 1/2 cups
  • Tomatoes, diced, 1 cup
  • Black olives, sliced, 1/2 cup
  • Green onions, chopped, 1/2 cup
  • Taco seasoning, 1 to 2 tablespoons, to taste
  • Sturdy tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. Chill the serving dish in the refrigerator to keep layers crisp.
  2. In a bowl, mix refried beans with taco seasoning until evenly combined.
  3. Set the chilled glass dish on your work surface.
  4. Layer in this order: refried beans, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, shredded cheddar, diced tomatoes, sliced olives, and chopped green onions. Spread each layer evenly.
  5. Wipe the inside edges of the dish for a clean presentation.
  6. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
