Description
A vibrant, refreshing summer drink made with sweet pineapple and juicy strawberries, swirled together into a frosty, colorful slushie that tastes like sunshine in a glass.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled
- 2–3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 4 cups ice cubes
- 1/2 cup cold water
Instructions
- Ensure your blender is clean and ready to go.
- In the blender, add pineapple chunks, half the ice, half the water, half the sweetener, and half the lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a bowl and rinse the blender.
- Repeat with strawberries and remaining ice, water, sweetener, and lemon juice.
- Chill your serving glasses in the freezer for at least 5 minutes.
- Alternate spoonfuls of pineapple and strawberry mixtures into each glass.
- Gently swirl layers with a spoon or straw for a marbled effect.
- Garnish with mint leaves or fruit slices and serve immediately.
Notes
- Freeze fruit chunks before blending for a thicker texture.
- Use crushed ice for smoother blending.
- Pour slowly to keep layers from mixing too much.
