  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, honey, and olive oil.
  3. Pour half the mixture into a resealable bag with the chicken wings. Marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  4. Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet, reserving the leftover marinade for the glaze.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crisping.
  6. In a small saucepan, simmer the reserved marinade with cornstarch until thickened into a glaze.
  7. Brush the glaze over the wings and broil for 2–3 minutes until caramelized and glossy.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, then serve warm.
