Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, corn syrup, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and melted butter. Stir in chopped pecans.
- Gently spoon the pecan mixture over the brownie batter, spreading evenly.
