- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled and boiled
- 1 medium carrot, finely diced
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in carrots, peas, tomato paste, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened.
- Mash the boiled potatoes with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until creamy.
- Spoon beef mixture into muffin cups, pressing gently to form a base.
- Top each with mashed potatoes using a spoon or piping bag.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- Drain the beef well to prevent sogginess.
- For a crispier top, broil for 2 minutes at the end.
- You can make them ahead and reheat before serving.
