Description
A tropical, layered frozen drink blending creamy piña colada and fruity strawberry daiquiri into one refreshing swirl. Perfect for summer days or any time you want a beachy escape.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon simple syrup or honey
- 1/3 cup coconut milk or cream of coconut
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (frozen or fresh)
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Optional garnish: sliced strawberries or pineapple wedges
Instructions
- Preheat your blender by running it briefly with warm water, then dry.
- In the blender, combine frozen strawberries, lime juice, simple syrup, and half the ice. Blend until smooth and thick. Transfer to freezer.
- Rinse the blender. Add pineapple chunks, coconut milk, pineapple juice, and remaining ice. Blend until creamy and smooth.
- Chill your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Pour the strawberry daiquiri mix into one side of the glass, then gently pour the piña colada mix into the other side to layer.
- Garnish with fruit, add a straw, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use frozen fruit for the best texture instead of relying on too much ice.
- Chilling the glasses helps keep the drink frozen longer.
- You can freeze blended layers in advance and assemble later.
