Description

A tropical, layered frozen drink blending creamy piña colada and fruity strawberry daiquiri into one refreshing swirl. Perfect for summer days or any time you want a beachy escape.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup or honey
  • 1/3 cup coconut milk or cream of coconut
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (frozen or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional garnish: sliced strawberries or pineapple wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat your blender by running it briefly with warm water, then dry.
  2. In the blender, combine frozen strawberries, lime juice, simple syrup, and half the ice. Blend until smooth and thick. Transfer to freezer.
  3. Rinse the blender. Add pineapple chunks, coconut milk, pineapple juice, and remaining ice. Blend until creamy and smooth.
  4. Chill your glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  5. Pour the strawberry daiquiri mix into one side of the glass, then gently pour the piña colada mix into the other side to layer.
  6. Garnish with fruit, add a straw, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use frozen fruit for the best texture instead of relying on too much ice.
  • Chilling the glasses helps keep the drink frozen longer.
  • You can freeze blended layers in advance and assemble later.
