Description

A fresh and flavorful wrap packed with chopped grilled chicken, crisp romaine lettuce, juicy cherry tomatoes, tangy banana peppers, mozzarella cheese, and a creamy Italian-style dressing, all rolled into a soft flour tortilla.

  • 1/3 cup sliced banana peppers (about 60 grams)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 100 grams)
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise (about 80 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar (about 15 milliliters)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (about 2 grams)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (about 3 grams)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (about 1 gram)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (about 25 centimeters each)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Add shredded romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, banana peppers, mozzarella cheese, and chopped chicken to the bowl. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Warm each flour tortilla in a skillet over low heat for about 20 seconds per side or microwave for 10 to 15 seconds until soft and flexible.
  4. Divide the filling evenly among the four tortillas, placing it in the center of each.
  5. Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll tightly into a wrap.
  6. Optional: Place the wraps seam side down in a skillet for 1 to 2 minutes to lightly toast the outside.
  7. Slice in half and serve immediately.

  • Chill the filling for 15 minutes before assembling for deeper flavor.
  • Pat the lettuce completely dry to prevent sogginess.
