Description

This Instant Pot Bread is fluffy on the inside with a perfectly golden crust. Easy to make with pantry staples, it’s the ultimate cozy homemade loaf.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Stir in flour, salt, and olive oil until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Line Instant Pot with parchment paper and lightly oil it. Transfer dough inside.
  4. Close the lid (no need to seal) and select the “Yogurt” setting. Let dough rise for 2 hours until doubled.
  5. Carefully lift dough using parchment, gently shape, and place into a greased oven-safe dish or Dutch oven.
  6. Preheat oven to 450°F. Score the dough on top with a sharp knife.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and crusty.
  8. Cool on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use instant yeast to reduce rise time slightly.
  • Sprinkle herbs or seeds on top for extra flavor.
  • Let the bread fully cool before slicing for best texture.
