Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until bubbly.
- Stir in flour, salt, and olive oil until a sticky dough forms.
- Line Instant Pot with parchment paper and lightly oil it. Transfer dough inside.
- Close the lid (no need to seal) and select the “Yogurt” setting. Let dough rise for 2 hours until doubled.
- Carefully lift dough using parchment, gently shape, and place into a greased oven-safe dish or Dutch oven.
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Score the dough on top with a sharp knife.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown and crusty.
- Cool on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use instant yeast to reduce rise time slightly.
- Sprinkle herbs or seeds on top for extra flavor.
- Let the bread fully cool before slicing for best texture.
