  • Total Time: 1 hour 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 loaf (10 slices) 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Hot Fudge Brownie Bread is a rich, ultra-moist loaf that combines the best of both worlds—fudgy brownies and soft chocolate bread. Packed with gooey chocolate and finished with a luscious hot fudge swirl, this dessert is perfect for chocoholics and makes a show-stopping treat for any occasion!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup hot fudge sauce (plus more for topping)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  5. Stir in cocoa powder until well incorporated.
  6. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips and hot fudge sauce.
  8. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Drizzle additional hot fudge over the top and swirl lightly with a knife.
  9. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake—slightly underbaked gives you that fudgy brownie texture.
  • Warm slices in the microwave and top with vanilla ice cream for an indulgent dessert.
  • You can use store-bought or homemade hot fudge sauce.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
