- 2 teaspoons black tea leaves
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or sugar
- A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil water in a kettle or saucepan.
- Add black tea leaves and the cinnamon stick, then let them steep for about 4 minutes.
- In a separate saucepan, gently warm the milk until steaming but not boiling.
- Strain the tea mixture into the warm milk, removing the tea leaves and cinnamon stick.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and your preferred sweetener.
- Pour into mugs and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
