Ingredients

- 400 g penne pasta
- 400 g raw prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 200 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 250 ml cooking cream
- 60 g parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne until al dente.
- Season prawns with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a grill pan and cook prawns for 2 to 3 minutes per side, then remove.
- In the same pan, sauté garlic briefly, add tomatoes, then stir in cream and parmesan.
- Add drained pasta and reserved pasta water, then return prawns to the pan.
- Toss gently, finish with parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
- Do not overcook the prawns.
- Use pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
