Description

Creamy pasta with grilled prawns, garlic, tomatoes, and parmesan that feels comforting and special.


Ingredients

  • 400 g penne pasta
  • 400 g raw prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 200 g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 250 ml cooking cream
  • 60 g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the penne until al dente.
  2. Season prawns with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a grill pan and cook prawns for 2 to 3 minutes per side, then remove.
  4. In the same pan, sauté garlic briefly, add tomatoes, then stir in cream and parmesan.
  5. Add drained pasta and reserved pasta water, then return prawns to the pan.
  6. Toss gently, finish with parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Do not overcook the prawns.
  • Use pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
