- 1 cup reduced apple cider
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 4 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup sugar + 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 12-cavity donut pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix reduced apple cider, sugars, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until combined.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until a smooth batter forms.
- Spoon or pipe batter into donut pan, filling each cavity about ¾ full.
- Bake 12–14 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool slightly, then roll warm donuts in cinnamon sugar coating.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
