Description
Soft, fluffy rolls filled with garlicky butter and herbs, swirled to perfection and baked until golden. These Garlic-Swirl Rolls are the ultimate side dish for any meal.

- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 ¼ teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted, divided)
- 1 large egg
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
- Add egg and 4 tablespoons melted butter. Stir in flour and salt gradually until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread with remaining butter, garlic, parsley, and Parmesan.
- Roll tightly into a log. Slice into 12 even rolls.
- Place rolls in greased dish. Cover and rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden.
- Brush with garlic butter and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
- Add chili flakes for a spicy kick.
- Freeze shaped rolls and bake later.
