Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
- Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
- While wings bake, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat.
- Once wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the garlic butter over the wings, add Parmesan, and toss until well coated.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving, if desired.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, refrigerate them uncovered for a few hours after seasoning with baking powder.
- You can air-fry the wings at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes for a faster method.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
