This garlic cheese bread is golden, gooey, and packed with buttery garlic flavor. Perfect as a side or snack, it’s quick to make and even quicker to disappear!

- 1 large French bread loaf, sliced lengthwise
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and olive oil. Mix until smooth.
- Place the bread halves on the baking sheet, cut side up.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of bread.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Broil for 1 to 2 minutes more for a golden, crispy top.
- Cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra garlic flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder to the butter mixture.
- To make ahead, assemble and refrigerate up to 24 hours before baking.
- Leftovers can be reheated in an oven or air fryer for best texture.
