Description
These fudgy brownies are rich, chewy, and deeply chocolatey with a crackly top and gooey center. Perfect for any occasion, they’re easy to make and even easier to love.
Ingredients
Scale
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter. Whisk in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir in cocoa powder, then gently mix in the flour and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly to the edges.
- Tap the pan gently to settle the batter and remove air bubbles.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
- Let the brownies cool completely in the pan. For clean slices, chill for 30 minutes before cutting.
- Serve and enjoy as-is or with your favorite ice cream.
Notes
- Use high-quality cocoa powder and chocolate for best flavor.
- Do not overmix once the flour is added to maintain a fudgy texture.
- Let brownies cool before slicing for clean, neat squares.
