Description

Simple, wholesome frozen bites made with ripe banana, fresh strawberries, and optional plain Greek yogurt, perfect as a refreshing, healthy treat for dogs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large banana, peeled (mashed or sliced)
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, unsweetened (optional, omit if your dog is lactose sensitive)

Instructions

  1. Prepare freezer space and silicone molds or an ice cube tray on a flat surface.
  2. Place banana, strawberries, and yogurt if using into a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides with a spatula as needed.
  4. Carefully pour or pipe the mixture into each mold cavity, filling evenly.
  5. Place molds on a flat shelf in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours, ideally overnight, until solid.
  6. Pop the frozen bites from the molds and transfer them to a labeled freezer-safe container or bag for long-term storage.
  7. Serve 1 to 2 bites to your dog as a treat, adjusting quantity by dog size.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas for natural sweetness and smoother texture.
  • Do not use sweetened yogurt or any products containing xylitol or artificial sweeteners.
  • Silicone molds make removal easy, but ice cube trays work fine too.
  • Store in the freezer for up to 2 months and thaw one or two bites slightly before serving if desired.
