Description

A sweet, creamy, and colorful Filipino classic, this Macaroni Salad blends pasta, pineapple, ham, cheese, and raisins in a rich dressing. Perfect for holidays, potlucks, or any festive occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 cups Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup Pineapple Chunks, drained
  • 1 cup Cooked Ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup Carrots, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup Raisins
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup Bell Pepper, finely chopped
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil elbow macaroni in salted water until al dente. Drain and let cool completely.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweetened condensed milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Add the cooled macaroni, ham, pineapple, carrots, raisins, bell pepper, and cheese to the bowl.
  4. Gently fold until everything is evenly coated with the dressing.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • Do not skip chilling—it’s key for flavor development.
  • Dice all ingredients small for even mixing and bites.
  • Use full-fat mayo for best richness and texture.
  • Add more mayo before serving if the salad thickens in the fridge.
