  • Large eggs, 4 eggs (about 200 g without shells)
  • All-purpose flour, 2 cups (240 g)
  • Baking powder, 2 teaspoons (8 g)
  • Salt, 1/4 teaspoon (1.5 g)
  • Milk, 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Vanilla extract, 2 teaspoons (10 ml)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and lightly grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
