- 18 to 20 frozen dumplings
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
- 2 cups napa cabbage, chopped
- 4 green onions, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Set a large soup pot over medium heat and warm it up.
- Drizzle in a splash of oil and sauté garlic and ginger for 1 minute until fragrant. Add carrots and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add frozen dumplings and stir gently to avoid sticking.
- Simmer for 8 to 10 minutes until dumplings float and are cooked through. Add napa cabbage in the last 3 minutes.
- Stir in sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let the soup rest for 5 minutes. Ladle into bowls and top with green onions before serving.
