Description
Crispy, golden air-fryer pork schnitzels made with tender pork loin, coated in seasoned panko breadcrumbs, and cooked to perfection without the grease. A beginner-friendly comfort food classic that’s quick, crunchy, and totally satisfying.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless pork loin chops, pounded thin
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Olive oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each pork chop first in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, pressing gently to coat.
- Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking.
- Place schnitzels in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray the tops with oil.
- Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through and spraying the other side.
- Let rest for 2 minutes before serving with your favorite sides.
Notes
- Use panko for extra crunch, but regular breadcrumbs work too.
- For even better crisp, toast the panko in a dry pan before breading.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer — cook in batches if needed.
