Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 large sesame seed burger buns
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tomato slices
  • 4 pickle slices
  • 2 onion rings
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form it into four equal patties.
  3. Lightly grease the cooking surface and cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side.
  4. Add a slice of cheese to each patty in the final minute to melt.
