Description

Wake up to a warm, comforting bowl of Crock Pot Strawberry and Cream Oatmeal. This creamy, fruity breakfast combines hearty oats, sweet strawberries, and a hint of vanilla, all slow-cooked to perfection for a naturally sweet and nourishing start to your day.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 4 cups milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or coconut cream
  • Extra strawberries and cream for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the inside of the crock pot to prevent sticking.
  2. Add the steel-cut oats, milk, strawberries, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to the crock pot. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until oats are tender and creamy.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream just before serving.
  5. Spoon into bowls and top with extra strawberries and cream if desired.

Notes

  • Use steel-cut oats, not quick oats, for the best texture in slow cooking.
  • You can prepare this overnight on the low setting for an easy breakfast in the morning.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey or syrup to taste.
