Description

A luxurious yet comforting pasta dish with shrimp, scallops, and mussels tossed in a velvety garlic cream sauce, finished with fresh parsley and lemon for balance.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz Linguine Pasta
  • 1/2 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound Scallops, cleaned
  • 1/2 pound Mussels, scrubbed and debearded
  • 3 tablespoons Butter
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and place a wide skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Drizzle olive oil into the skillet, add shrimp and scallops, searing until golden on both sides, then remove. Add mussels and cook until shells open, then set aside.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in the cream, simmering gently until it thickens slightly.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Stir in Parmesan, season with salt and pepper, and squeeze in lemon juice.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Drop pasta into the boiling water, cook until al dente, then transfer directly into the sauce with a splash of pasta water.
  6. Finishing Touches: Toss seafood back into the skillet, coating everything in the creamy garlic sauce. Sprinkle with parsley.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Twirl onto plates, garnish with extra Parmesan, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Always salt pasta water generously—it should taste like the sea.
  • Pat seafood dry before cooking to achieve a golden sear.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest melt.
  • Save a cup of pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
