Ingredients
- Raw prawns, peeled and deveined – 500 grams
- Unsalted butter – 3 tablespoons
- Garlic, finely minced – 4 cloves
- Heavy cream – 1 cup
- Salt – 0.75 teaspoon
- Black pepper – 0.5 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped – 2 tablespoons
Instructions
- Place a large skillet over medium heat and allow it to warm evenly.
- Add the unsalted butter to the skillet and let it melt gently until glossy.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, salt, and black pepper, stirring until smooth and well combined.
- Add the prawns in a single layer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Sprinkle in the chopped parsley and gently stir to coat the prawns evenly.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately while the sauce is silky.
Notes
- Use room temperature cream to prevent the sauce from splitting.
- Do not overcook the prawns to keep them tender.
