  • 1 large French baguette, sliced into 1.5 cm thick rounds
  • 225 grams cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries (about 120 grams)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, stir the softened cream cheese with a pinch of salt until smooth and spreadable.
  3. Arrange baguette slices on the baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil on one side.
  4. Toast for 8 to 10 minutes until golden and lightly crisp. Remove and let cool slightly.
  5. Spread each toasted slice generously with cream cheese and top with fresh cranberries.
  6. Return to the oven for 3 to 4 minutes to slightly soften the cranberries and warm through.
