Ingredients
Scale
For the Burgers
- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
For Serving
- 6 burger buns, toasted
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Pickles
- Additional shredded cheddar (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels, then crumble.
- Make the burger mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ranch seasoning, cheddar cheese, bacon, garlic powder, pepper, and salt. Mix gently until just combined—avoid overmixing.
- Form patties: Divide mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
- Cook the burgers: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- Assemble: Place burgers on toasted buns. Top with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and extra cheddar if desired.
- Serve: Enjoy immediately while hot and cheesy.
Notes
- For extra juiciness, make a thumbprint in the center of each patty before cooking to prevent puffing.
- Swap cheddar for pepper jack for a spicier kick.
- These burgers pair perfectly with crispy fries or onion rings.
