Description
Golden, bite-sized biscuits rolled in cinnamon sugar and brushed with butter for a warm, cozy treat perfect for breakfast, snacks, or sharing.
Ingredients
- Refrigerated biscuit dough, 1 can (16 oz)
- Granulated sugar, 1/2 cup (100 g)
- Ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon (8 g)
- Unsalted butter, 4 tablespoons (melted, 57 g)
Instructions
- Preheat Your Equipment: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine Ingredients: In a small bowl, stir together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until evenly blended.
- Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Place the parchment-lined baking sheet on the counter so it is ready for the coated bites.
- Assemble the Dish: Cut each biscuit into quarters to create bite-sized pieces. Dip each piece in the melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon sugar mixture until well coated.
- Cook to Perfection: Arrange the coated biscuit bites on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Finishing Touches: If desired, brush the warm bites with a little extra melted butter and sprinkle a touch more cinnamon sugar on top.
- Serve and Enjoy: Let the bites cool for a couple of minutes, then serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
- For an extra-crisp crust, roll the bites twice in the cinnamon sugar before baking.
- Substitute brown sugar for a deeper, caramel-like flavor.
- To make dairy-free, replace melted butter with coconut oil or a vegan butter alternative.
- Reheat frozen bites in a preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for 6 to 8 minutes.
