- 6 cups cinnamon rolls, cut into chunks
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup icing or glaze
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Whisk together milk, cream, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Arrange cinnamon roll chunks evenly in the baking dish.
- Pour the custard mixture over the rolls and let soak for 10 minutes.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes until golden and set.
- Drizzle icing over the warm pudding and serve.
Notes
- Use day-old cinnamon rolls for better absorption.
- Rest the pudding 5 minutes after baking to help it set.
- Add nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips for extra texture.
