- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Toss chicken tenders with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper until fully coated.
- Add olive oil to the hot skillet and swirl to coat.
- Place chicken tenders in the skillet in a single layer.
- Sear each side for 3–4 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and zest. Simmer for 3 minutes, whisking until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce over. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Pat chicken dry before seasoning for a better sear.
- Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
- If you prefer a creamier sauce, whisk in a splash of heavy cream at the end.
