Crispy baked Cheez-It Crusted Chicken Nuggets made with crushed cheese crackers for bold cheddar flavor and juicy tender chicken inside.

- 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces
- 3 cups cheese crackers, finely crushed
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Light cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place a wire rack on top if available.
- Place flour in one bowl. Beat eggs in a second bowl. In a third bowl mix crushed cheese crackers, garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Pat chicken pieces dry.
- Dip chicken into flour, then egg, then coat in cracker mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
- Arrange on rack and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden and cooked through to 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd baking sheet.
- Flip halfway if not using a rack.
- Press crumbs firmly for best coating.
- Reheat in oven or air fryer to keep crisp.
