Description

A creamy and refreshing Brazilian lemonade made with fresh limes, sweetened condensed milk, and ice, perfectly balanced between tangy and sweet with a silky smooth finish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium fresh limes, washed and quartered
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Wash the limes thoroughly and cut them into quarters, leaving the peel on.
  2. Add the quartered limes, cold water, and granulated sugar to a blender.
  3. Blend for 20 to 30 seconds until the limes are broken down but not over blended.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher, pressing gently to extract the liquid and discard the solids.
  5. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until fully combined and creamy.
  6. Add the ice cubes and stir gently to chill the drink.
  7. Pour into glasses and serve immediately while cold and frothy.

Notes

  • Do not over blend the limes to avoid bitterness from the peel.
  • Adjust the sugar and condensed milk to suit your preferred sweetness level.
  • Serve immediately for the best frothy texture and fresh flavor.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours and stir well before serving.
